Ms. Carina Chen graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Linguistics. She majored in French and minored in German. After that, she got her Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing from California State University, Los Angeles. With her language abilities and her business background, she landed herself in a teaching post in the University of Hong Kong, SPACE.
Ms. Chen has more than 20 years of legal experience. She started practicing law in Hong Kong in 2001 and has obtained the British lawyer qualification. Ms. Chen has also recently become a practicing lawyer in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Ms. Chen is proficient in corporate law, bankruptcy law, intellectual property law, real estate affairs and property law, marriage and wills and estate affairs, etc.; she provides a variety of cross-border legal services to clients in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, including but not limited to wills and estate affairs, family wealth security and inheritance, marriage law, family disputes, company operations and governance, and company legal advisory services. During her practice, Ms. Chen has handled nearly 2,000 matrimonial litigation cases, more than 7,000 building sales cases, nearly 400 civil and criminal litigation cases, and more than 1,000 other types of litigation and miscellaneous cases.
