1. Handling Complex Inheritance Cases: Lawyer Chen has undertaken nearly 100 cross-border inheritance cases, including scenarios such as Hong Kong residents inheriting mainland estates, mainland residents inheriting Hong Kong estates, and even inheritance involving three regions of Indonesia, Hong Kong, and the mainland. She has in-depth knowledge of connecting inheritance legal systems and procedures in different jurisdictions, providing clients with meticulous and patient legal services to ensure their legitimate rights and interests are fully protected.
2. Cross-border Judgment Enforcement: Since 2022, the two-place lawyer team where Lawyer Chen is located has represented a state-owned enterprise in registering and enforcing mainland judgments in Hong Kong, recovering debts exceeding HK$1 billion from debtors. At present, the team has successfully obtained an interlocutory charging order to ensure the preservation of the debtor's assets. Next, the team will apply for a disclosure order to further investigate the debtor's asset situation and support subsequent enforcement procedures.
3. Cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Restructuring: In 2023, the two-place lawyer team where Lawyer Chen is located provided special legal services for a listed company in Dongguan (a high-tech company specializing in OEM processing for smartphone manufacturers such as Apple and Huawei), assisting it in asset restructuring of its holding company in Hong Kong and handling share acquisition and M&A matters of the listed company. The case involved a transaction amount of over HK$1.3 billion. Relying on rich cross-border M&A experience, Lawyer Chen's team provided comprehensive services including transaction structure design, legal due diligence, document drafting, and negotiation to ensure the smooth progress of the transaction.
