Mr. Godwin Ng is a senior accountant and Hong Kong barrister with more than 40 years of tax work experience. Mr. Ng served as the vice President of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong from 2009 to 2013. Mr. Ng has worked in the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department for more than 20 years, and he has worked in two core departments for 9 years, that is the Appeals Team and the Field Audit and Investigation Team. After retiring from the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department, Mr. Ng started practicing as a barrister in Hong Kong in 2005.
Mr. Ng is good at handling various kinds of tax cases, including cross-border tax avoidance arrangements, offshore profits tax, offshore salaries tax, tax cases on the sale and purchase of real estate, small houses and stock sales, tax depreciation cases on cross-border trade between mainland China and Hong Kong and so on.
Mr. Ng holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of London, a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) from the University of Hong Kong, and an MBA from the University of Wales and Manchester.
