Application Entrance for Hong Kong Residents to Obtain Mainland Driving Licenses

Introduction to the Cross-Boundary Connectivity Document Processing Center of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (Mainland Driving License Processing Service Center)

The Cross-Boundary Connectivity Document Processing Center of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions (Mainland Driving License Processing Service Center) is a subsidiary of the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions. It was established to promote the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Hong Kong's integration into the overall national development, facilitating people from all walks of life in Hong Kong to handle matters related to life, work, and travel on the Chinese mainland locally in Hong Kong, especially those involving the mutual recognition of qualifications and interconnection arrangements between the two places.

The key service in the initial stage is to establish a Mainland Driving License Processing Service Center to provide services for obtaining mainland driving licenses, aiming to facilitate transportation between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

Previously, Hong Kong residents had to return to designated medical institutions on the Chinese mainland for a physical examination, which was a necessary procedure for obtaining a mainland driving license. Now, the medical institutions affiliated with the Hong Kong Federation of Trade Unions have been recognized by the Traffic Management Bureau of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department. They are the first to offer physical examination services in Hong Kong for Hong Kong residents who need to renew their mainland driving licenses, significantly saving applicants' time. Besides completing the physical examination in Hong Kong, applicants can also enjoy one-stop agency services for applying for mainland driving licenses through our document processing service center.

Currently, both the Workers' Union Medical Service Center providing physical examination services and the document processing service center are located in the Bay East Centre in Wan Chai, near Exit A3 of the Convention and Exhibition Station and Exit A1 of the Wan Chai Station, ensuring great convenience.
